BUILDING COMMUNITY POWER

All London based rebels are invited to join the January London Meet Up, on
  • Sunday 19th January  
  • 2 to 5 pm
  • Elizabeth House, 2 Hurlock St, N5 1ES (Nearest station: Finsbury Park)

Join us for an afternoon of socialising, organising and sharing experiences. Vegetarian and vegan food will be provided. Organised by the Haringey Local Group, with help from Muswell Hill and XR London

  • Welcome, Icebreakers and sharing food
  • Workshop -  Building Community Power : How do we build communities of connection and care, with other rebels and allies? -  alliance building and how local groups can reach out to allies locally. What experiences of this have we had in local groups? Which tools can we use? How can we build strong community networks in 2025? These are all questions we are keen to tackle during the workshop.
  • Followed by Socialising and (optional) dancing
