The XRUS Open Houses are designed for activists who are new to Extinction Rebellion or to climate activism in general, though we also welcome current members of XR or veteran activists who want to network and share ideas.  

As in all Open Houses, we will provide a short presentation about the climate movement, Extinction Rebellion, and Non-Violent Direct Action. For the November 15 Open House, we are also inviting members of Extinction Rebellion allied organizations, for example Scientist Rebellion and Mothers Rebellion, to provide a sense of the varied opportunities for getting involved.

The Open House will be in Zoom, beginning at 11 a.m. PT, 12 p.m. MT, 1 p.m. CT, and 2 p.m. ET.  This is a 60-minute meeting, but members of XRUS chapters and working groups will be happy to stay for an additional 30 minutes to answer any questions and discuss possible next steps for new activists.
