As part of our Tax The Rich! campaign, DSA members will be joining labor and community members in kicking off the Yes on A! campaign to pass the Empty Homes Tax in the City of San Diego.

No prior canvassing experience is necessary. We will be pairing up less experienced canvassers with more experienced comrades.

Measure A will impose a tax on wealthy individuals and corporations who own homes and leave them for most of the year. There are over 5,000 such homes left empty in San Diego every year, making it harder for working people to find an affordable place to live.
