Inspired by Young Greens getting elected? Wanting to get involved within the Green Party? Well come and join us for the Young Greens Annual Convention in Cardiff on the 26th and 27th of July at the Sport Wales National Centre and online.
Hear from the Young Greens on our campaigns, priorities, and the future of youth-led politics
Engage with Green Party leaders and voices from across the movement
Get campaign-ready for upcoming elections across the country – from London to Manchester to the Senedd – with strategy sessions and practical training
Whether you're a first-time attendee or a long-standing member, the convention promises to be an inspiring space to connect, build skills, and take action.
We believe that Convention should be accessible to all members. As such, it will be held in a
hybrid format, with the option to join our democracy sessions online. In addition, we will be providing financial assistance through our
Access Fund to ensure that the cost of attending is not a barrier to participation. We will not be providing lunch but this can be claimed back via the access fund.
We have put together a list of
recommended accommodation and suggest, where possible, booking in groups to reduce cost. Likewise, we have
compiled a list of food options near the Convention venue. We will not be offering free food, however attendees can apply to the access fund for reimbursements.
To create a safe and supportive environment, and to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy Convention, the Young Greens Safeguarding and Safe Spaces policy will be enforced throughout the entire event, and by attending you are agreeing to abide by this policy and its procedures. Please read the policy here prior to attending. Only Young Greens can attend unless you are needed for caring/guardian or other responsibilities, in which case please let us know ahead of time.
If you have any questions about attending Convention please get in touch with us on admin@younggreens.org.uk. Deadline to sign up is Friday 25th July 16:00.
