Mitokh Dapeinu will meet for its next session on Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 PM EST. We’ll be discussing two articles: "Zionism from the Standpoint of its Victims" by Edward Said and "Sephardim in Israel: Zionism from the Standpoint of its Jewish Victims" by Ella Habiba Shohat.

We ask that participants read both articles and prepare at least one discussion question. If you’re unable to finish the entire selection, please read the following selection. For Shohat, pp. 37-39, 54-63, and 74-76. For Said, pp. 10-14, the bottom of p. 24 through the middle of p. 25, the bottom of p. 28-29, the bottom of p. 36-37, and the bottom of p. 46-52.
