Georgia Muslim Voter Project’s (GAMVP) Youth Ambassadors Program equips Muslim youth in Georgia between the ages of 16 and 22* with skills in organizing, political and civic engagement, and knowledge of issues impacting the Muslim community, and provides them with opportunities to connect with other Muslim youth around the state. GAMVP's Youth Ambassador Program is a unique learning and skills development opportunity that offers a $1000 stipend for participation. Youth Ambassadors will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute to GAMVP’s mission and vision of amplifying the Muslim voice through civic engagement and voter registration

• Participate in, host, or volunteer in GAMVP events and workshops

• Lead voter registration drives and other civic engagement initiatives

• Apply organizing and civic engagement skills in a non-profit and nonpartisan setting

• Develop leadership and organizing skills among a group of like-minded Muslim youth dedicated to social justice and creating a more inclusive democracy

• Represent GAMVP in their community and make positive contributions to the wider Georgia Muslim community

GAMVP’s 2023 Youth Ambassador Program will run from June to November 2023. Youth Ambassadors will attend monthly training sessions (both virtual and in-person) followed by organizing, membership and event opportunities. For their participation in the program, each ambassador will be provided with a stipend of up to $1000. The expected time commitment for Youth Ambassadors is 12-15 hours a month.
