What Does Being a CA WFP Member Representative Entail? Read Below!

We are looking for member representatives to represent our individual members on our regional Steering Committee's. The Steering Committee is made up of representatives from our community organizations, labor unions and our individual membership. The Steering Committee will engage members, organize events and lead the candidate endorsement process.

Our member representatives will discuss and carry out best practices for engaging our membership, organizing our members and supporters around our priority issues and campaigns, and building WFP as a political home.

One member will be selected to represent each of the following regions: (1) Bay Area (2) Los Angeles County (3) San Diego County (4) Orange County (5) Inland Empire (6) Central Coast (7) Central Valley/Sacramento.

The deadline to apply to be a member representative will by on June 21st, 2024 at noon PT. Elections will begin on Tuesday June 25th and run through Friday July 5th at 5pm.

Applications will be reviewed by the regional leadership team to determine eligibility. Eligible candidates will then go through an election process that includes an introduction to the membership and a vote.
