2026 APEN Youth Academy Program Application
Richmond Youth - We need you!
We need the voices of youth to create a just community and world. Spend your spring semester learning, gaining skills, and putting those skills into action by contributing to local campaigns in Richmond!*Participants will receive a stipend of $250 via Tremendous gift card*
Program Dates and Times:
- Friday 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 5/1 @ 4:30pm - 6:30pm
- Saturday 5/9 @ 10am-2pm

What Participants Do:
- Educational Workshops
- Free Snacks and Refreshments
- Community Building
- End of Program Dinner Celebration
Requirements
- Ages 12-18
- West Contra Costa residents
- Passion for social & environmental justice
COVID Protocols
- All participants are expected to wear a mask when not eating/drinking
- Please stay at home if you are experiencing any symptoms
- COVID tests provided every evening
