Bedford Borough Council is finally consulting about introducing a 20mph limit for the whole area between the High Street and Newnham Avenue. This comes after countless calls by local residents, years of campaigning by Lucy and Ben and with cooperation between them as Castle Ward Councillors and Newnham Ward's Councillors Jake and Hilde.  

Because it is a consultation, it is vital that the supporters of this scheme to make their support known to the council. If you fill in your details, we will pass them on to the council.
