ACT NOW: End Animal Sacrifice at the Eid al-Adha Festival

Every year, during the Eid al-Adha “Feast of Sacrifice,” millions of animals are tortured and slaughtered in the name of tradition.
In Bangladesh, over 13 million cows, goats, buffalo, camels, and sheep are subjected to public slaughter in the streets, markets, alleys, and even homes.
They arrive bound, beaten, and dehydrated. Then, they are pinned down, their throats slit, and left to thrash, scream, and bleed out in front of crowds.
URGENT: This year, the slaughter begins June 7th — that's Friday evening EST — and it’s expected to be the bloodiest in recent memory.
Demand change: STOP ANIMAL SACRIFICE.
Religious observance should never justify this level of pain, fear, and suffering. It's time to evolve tradition with compassion.
End animal sacrifice altogether. Replace it with more compassionate offerings.
Sign this critical petition, and we will send your name along with thousands of others to Bangladesh’s Religious Affairs Advisor, AFM Khalid Hossain, so that we can make a more significant impact on your behalf.
