The Grievance Committee will be made up of three officers who reflect diverse gender identities, sexual orientations, and racial backgrounds. The committee functions on an as-needed basis, rather than holding regular meetings.

Grievance Officers should:

• Understand chapter bylaws and the removal process
• Be prepared to mediate and help de-escalate situations
• Know how to evaluate and respond to different levels of conflict

This is a crucial role to ensure our chapter remains a safe, inclusive, and accountable organizing space.
