ADD YOUR NAME: Defend TPS!
The Trump administration has moved to end the status of hundreds of thousands of people who fled their countries and found safety in the United States. Since taking office, the administration has moved to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for South Sudan, Syria, Nicaragua, Honduras, Nepal, Cameroon, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Venezuela.
TPS holders have lived in the United States for years, in many cases more than a decade. They are neighbors, colleagues, and family members who are deeply integrated into communities around this country. Losing their status could forcibly separate them from family members in the U.S., including young U.S. citizen children, parents, grandparents, and siblings.
IRAP is going to the Supreme Court to defend TPS, but Congress needs to act. Tell Congress they need to keep families together and protect this important program today.
