Right now, the House is considering a federal budget bill that includes a TEN YEAR ban on states being able to pass AI regulations. [1]

We know that this tech is still being developed, and in the meantime it ‘hallucinates’ or makes up information, obfuscates the truth, and is heavily influenced by the people who program it – and their political agendas [2].

We can’t let this tech continue without safeguards in place to protect us from spreading disinformation, exposing our kids to harmful content, or exploiting our data. We need the ability to regulate it now and in the years to come.
