Anti-Worker State Budget Telephone Town Hall

Union leaders have scheduled a tele-town hall for members in response to Republican lawmakers' cruel and damaging state budget passed by the legislature on September 16. It’s an opportunity to plan what more can we do as a movement — and what to expect once the governor vetoes the toxic, anti-worker package:

  • WHEN: Sunday, September 24 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM.
  • WHERE: participate by telephone; you will be called just before the town hall begins on the number you provide in your RSVP at right.
Randi Weingarten, or AFT national president, will join us to share how support and resources are bing marshaled to shore up our fight for fairness here in Connecticut.
