As the Commonwealth's agency for civil society, the Commonwealth Foundation strengthens people’s participation in all aspects of public dialogue, so together they can learn from each other and act to build democratic societies.

Every year, we offer grants to civil society organisations in the Commonwealth for projects that seek to facilitate constructive engagement between civil society and decision-makers. We fund projects that relate to our priority themes, which include health justice, climate justice and freedom of expression.

Civil society organisations in eligible countries can apply for between £15,000 to £30,000 in grant funding for up to two years.
