APEN Environmental Justice Survey

The Asian Pacific Environmental Network is an environmental justice organization with deep roots in California's Asian immigrant and refugee communities. We define environmental justice as a broad range of issues that impact our ability to live, work, play and thrive. These issues include housing, worker rights, economic stability and safety to name a few. Since 1993, we've built a membership base of Laotian refugees in Richmond and Chinese immigrants in Oakland and have engaged Asian communities across the state around civic engagement opportunities. Together, we've passed policies and won campaigns to make our communities healthier, just places where we can all thrive.

Learning from our work in the Bay Area we know that we need to build statewide power to serve our Asian immigrant and refugee communities. The goal of this survey is to engage LA residents to understand the environmental justice issues that Asian communities face and where we want to make positive change.

This survey should take 5 to 10 minutes to complete and we will not share your information outside of APEN. We will be raffling off gift cards each worth $50 for those who complete the survey!
