StoryLab is a national program preparing people to bring new perspectives to Australian media reporting about drugs.
Unharm brought together a team of narrative, media and legal experts to develop StoryLab, and launched the program in February 2020 with a pilot group of people with lived experience of drugs. Their feedback helped refine the program, and now it’s ready to grow.
For people talking about personal experiences with drugs, there are legal and social risks in being honest. And talking to the media can be a daunting prospect if you’ve never done it before. If you’re going to make the effort to do it, you want to be sure it’s going to be worthwhile. StoryLab can support you to share your story safely and effectively.
