WATCH: Why Trump is bailing out Argentina with your tax dollars
The Trump administration just announced a plan to loan $20 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars to bailout the Argentina economy:
First, you have to understand that like Trump and his family, Argentina’s president is a billionaire faux populist who is personally happy to cash in on his wealth and power.
Additionally, the timing of this loan comes the same month as Argentina’s presidential election where Trump is obviously trying to prop up an unpopular administration whose policies include firing federal works and Argentina’s social safety net.
Sound familiar? Milei, who is also friends with Elon Musk, was the inspiration for DOGE’s attacks on our federal workforce and agencies.
But it’s not just Trump’s affinity for right-wing billionaires that is driving this loan.
One major investor in Argentina’s debt is an American hedge fund billionaire who is close friends with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Apparently Bessent is willing to spend $20 billion of our tax dollars to protect his buddy’s risky investments.
Watch More Perfect Union’s reporting above, then add your name demanding President Trump and Treasury Secretary Bessent stop this $20 billion Argentina bailout.
