Ban night flights - Protect our health and climate

Every night, millions of people living near airports are kept awake by roaring engines pouring toxic pollution into the air. Night flights don’t just steal these people’s sleep – they seriously harm their health while destroying the planet. Studies show that constant night-time aircraft noise increases the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and depression. This is unacceptable.

Airports and airlines are putting profits over people, depriving communities of their right to rest.

That’s why over 200 groups across the world have come together to declare September 13th the International Day for the Ban on Night Flights. The declaration is clear: night flights must stop – now.

We, as individuals, stand in solidarity with all communities suffering from sleepless nights, health problems, and stress caused by airport operations. We add our voices to this growing global call. We declare:

  • Night flights must be banned from airports.
  • Exceptions like medical emergencies are reasonable. But the daily barrage of scheduled night flights is not.
  • Our rights – to rest, to health, to a livable future – are more important than airline profits.

Join the growing movement. Sign now to demand an immediate ban on night flights!
