Public education is under attack nationwide. The playbook has already been written, and with a $6.5 Billion dollar ANNUAL budget, we knew Kentucky was the obvious next target for privatizers and special interest groups who wish to get their hands on our tax dollars intended for our school children. And unfortunately, we were right. In 2017, Kentucky became the 44th state to pass charter school legislation.
