Out For Justice | Become A Member
Welcome to Out for Justice (OFJ)! Please take a few minutes to complete this form.
We believe those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. We are a grassroots, member-led organization made up of individuals who have been directly impacted by the criminal legal system — and those who stand beside us in the fight for change.
If you have experienced incarceration or you are a family member of someone who has been incarcerated, join as a Voting Member. Voting members are entitled to participate in Out for Justice decisions about which issues and policies the organization will focus on. Voting members can attend training on how to change policies that affect our lives; develop leadership skills, have your voice heard through organized efforts.
SUPPORTING MEMBER
If you are an individual who believes that change in criminal justice policies are needed, join as a Supporting Member. Supporting members can attend training on how to change policies that affect our lives; develop leadership skills; have your voice heard through organized efforts.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBER
If you are an organization or business that supports the mission of Out for Justice, join as an Organizational Member. Organizational members can send one representative to training workshops on how to change policies for free, and additional representatives for a modest fee. Keep informed about policies and participate in efforts for change.
Membership obligations include paying yearly dues (Individual - $60/year, Organizational - $120/year) and attending monthly membership meetings. We understand financial challenges. No one is turned away for inability to pay. If you can't contribute now, we ask that you engage through volunteer work — phone banking, tabling, Annapolis actions, and more.
Dues can be remitted monthly and via any of the methods listed below.
Dues can also be paid in person at our OFJ office or mailed to our Postal Box:
