Take the next step in Political Advocacy and become a part of one of Nashville's top youth organizations! The Davidson County Young Democrats mission is to encourage the youth of Davidson County and surrounding areas of active interest by supporting and electing Democratic candidates for public office, widening and increasing young people’s knowledge of government and the political process, training and developing young people for positions of leadership, increasing the role of underrepresented people in our Party, government, and society, and to serve those in need in our community.
Filling out this form will help us understand your interests and find ways to get you involved!
If you meet the following qualifications, you can also choose become a member of DCYD! Membership allows you special access to events and our members-only Signal group, vote on important matters relative to the function of DCYD, appointment to one of our youth committees, and a seat at the table in deciding how DCYD functions for years to come.
To Qualify for Membership:
- Has not yet turned 36 years old; and
- Identifies as a member of the Democratic Party; and
- Resides, worships, or works in Davidson County; and
- Pays the annual membership dues (ActBlue link will be shown following form submission)
- Dues: Membership dues are as follows:
- Full $25 with all privileges and voting rights
- Student $15 with all privileges and voting rights
- Members of chartered Nashville High School Democrat chapters or Nashville Democrat Chapters are not required to pay dues through DCYD. However, submit this form so we can put you on the roster
