We are searching for passionate and philanthropic professionals between the ages of 24-34 who have active networks and will strategically engage their contacts in fundraising and networking on behalf of Beyond Plastics.

RECRUITMENT PROFILE

We seek members that are cross-industry professionals with the interests, expertise, skills, energy, and commitment needed to fulfill the organization’s mission and goals. Candidates experienced in philanthropy, grantmaking, social media, donor relations, and strategic partnership development are particularly desired.

• Age: Between 24-34 years old
• Terms of service: One-year term

Desired Experience

• Nonprofit board
• Law firm/legal
• Advocacy/Policy
• Real estate, banking, or financial management
• NYC, Philadelphia, or Boston business or community leadership
• Fundraising/development experience and/or special events production
• Networking and fundraising ability/capacity
• Marketing/ public relations expertise

Expectations

• Commit to a one-year term
• Attend 2 virtual Changemakers meetings per year
• Meet a Give or Get requirement of at least $1,000 per year (contributions can be from member’s employer if they meet our corporate giving guidelines)
• Make strategic connections and introductions for the organization
• Participate, when available, in Beyond Plastics fundraising, cultivation, and programmatic events in your community
• Boost our social media following and engagement by liking/sharing/commenting on our posts to expand our reach.
• Fundraising and outreach, strengthening and diversifying Beyond Plastics’ funding base
