Break the Chains queer dance party!
Break the Chains is an all ages, all gender, radical dance party in Boston featuring nationally touring queer and transgender artists, and predominantly artists of color. After a pandemic hiatus, we are coming back! And all our events this year will be FREE thanks to a grant from the Mayor's Office of LGBTQ Advancement. Here's a list of upcoming events. Saturday, August 24th: QUEER STAGE @ Jamaica Plain Porchfest
Location: Sedgwick Studios, Sedgwick St near Elm St in JP
Featuring: Reklama, Cannas & Juan Suarez, Mother Fungus
Hosted by Evan Greer. Open stage time for gay karaoke!
Time: 12pm - 5pm. Free, all ages, open to all.
Artists will be paid with a grant from the Mayor's office of LGBTQ Advancement
Thursday, September 26th: TRANARCHY: trans singer/songwriter showcase
Featuring: Mya Byrne, Alex Riggs, +1 TBA
Location: Sedgwick Studios, RSVP for address
Time: 6pm - 10pm. Outdoors, weather permitting
Free, all ages, open to all. Free masks available.

Featuring: Mint Green, The Femmes, Diggity Dom & more!
Location: Spontaneous Celebrations, 45 Danforth St, JP
Time: 5pm - 11pm. Indoors/outdoors, wheelchair accessible.
