WHAT THIS IS
Join Team Debbie for our Campaign Canvassing Kickoff as we reach out to neighbors during the snowstorm to invite them to upcoming campaign events and listen to what matters most to District 1 voters.
EVENT TIMELINE
11:00 AM – Volunteer training and walkthrough
11:30 AM – Canvassing begins in nearby turf
We’ll make it easy
This kickoff is designed for first time canvassers and experienced volunteers. We’ll walk through exactly what to say, answer questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before heading out.

  • Be polite and friendly
  • Never argue with voters
  • Volunteers do not represent Debbie’s personal views
  • Do not guess on policy questions
  • Take notes and share questions afterward

  • Comfortable shoes and weather appropriate layers
  • A charged phone
  • A positive attitude
  • Water if you’d like
