Solar Power has been reserved for the many few due to income, home ownership status and credit worthiness. Citizen Action is working on a Community Solar project that will know all of the barriers off the table.

Community Solar grids contain solar panels that are placed on an off site location and the energy is credited to your household. Community Solar projects provide a cleaner and greener environment as well as a savings on electricity bill. To participate you will only need to have your own NYSEG Bill and live in the Southern Tier.
