Community Pride FTP: "My Coming Out"
What was coming out like for you? How did you come out to yourself? Are you out to your family now? What is your relationship with "coming out" as such a large part of American LGBTQ+ culture?
This storytelling night themed around coming out stories will be a Zoom open mic, hosted Thursday, August 20th, from 8-10PM. Use this form to get on the queue ahead of time! This event is a fundraiser for Community Pride 2020. Learn more here.
Rehearsing a little bit will help with nerves, give you a sense of how long you'll be speaking, and help organize your thoughts. We recommend it. :) Stories are suggested 5-10 minutes, and you are totally allowed to read from something you've written ahead of time. No shame!
You'll get an invite to the Zoom room the day of the show via email and it will be posted on our Facebook event page.
