The core mission of David Zwirner Gallery is to take an ‘artist-first’ approach to exhibiting art across media and genres. Our union recognizes the essential role staff plays in achieving this mission by producing the high quality of work the gallery is known for. Through collective bargaining, we seek to establish a workplace that will provide sustainable employment for its motivated, talented and committed staff by allowing us to bargain for better wages and working conditions and mutual respect between workers and management across departments. The formation of our union will ensure David Zwirner Gallery as an enterprise driven by the talent and dedication of our staff, in collaboration with the efforts of the visionary artists with whom we have the pleasure and privilege to work.
