Every March, members of United Campus Workers across the state go to the state capitol building in Nashville to talk to their state legislators about the bills they support and oppose during the legislative session. To us, this event is known as Lobby Day! In the past few years, a coalition of organizations known as Tennessee for All has developed a broader program of action for these days on the hill and has helped coordinate our travel to the capitol by renting buses for our members in Knoxville, Memphis, and Chattanooga.

This year, Tennessee for All has chosen Tuesday, March 11th, as their day of action. For some job classes in the past (mainly faculty and graduate students), it's been easier to attend Lobby Day if it takes place during their institution's spring break. With some institutions having their spring breaks earlier or later than usual, we want to know which Lobby Day date you'd be able to attend.
