Iowans don’t expect to agree with our representatives on every issue. But we do expect them to have the courage to meet us face-to-face and have an honest, open discussion about how to move our state and country forward. That’s the kind of leadership we deserve, and the kind of leadership Rep. Nunn has failed to deliver.

Iowans have been showing up in force and voicing their concerns on the Republican Tax Scam, asking that Rep. Nunn prioritizes Iowans and critical programs like Medicaid. But Nunn didn’t listen. He didn’t even show up to meetings organized by his constituents. Instead, Nunn voted for legislation that cuts Medicaid and SNAP to pay for more tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and allows President Trump’s tariffs to continue raising the cost of cars, homes, and more.

Since taking office, Nunn has failed to host public town hall meetings. That is unacceptable. It underscores how he is failing to serve our best interests: supporting policies that give billions of dollars to wealthy corporations while gutting crucial services and raising prices on us.
