The proposed franchise agreement is being considered in City Council right now! Mayor Lightfoot is trying to push through an agreement that fails to achieve Chicago's climate goals, does not hold ComEd to account for its corruption, and makes municipalization far more difficult. To help us push back against this unacceptable agreement, we need to be able to show up in-person at City Council, press conferences, and other events.
