Digital and Operational Self Defense: Cleveland Digital Self Defense Collective
Security is difficult. It is difficult to understand what risks exist, how that changes with changes on our activity and how that relates to our everyday practices. This training, which was built by radical tech and security professionals with over 2 decades of experience, will begin with a discussion of how surveillance functions, and the role of the Intelligence Gathering Lifecycle. From this understanding attendees will learn how to assess their personal risk, the risk of those around them and how those risks change over time, and how this analysis can inform practices, tool choices and operational structures which can keep all of us safe. Security is solidarity!
This training is April 24 from 4-7pm online by audio/video conference: you will be sent a link for a Jitsi meeting.
This training is held by the Cleveland Digital Self Defense Collective. Clevelanders Against Federal Policing is helping facilitate sign ups.
