Do you live in a BERDO Building?

Do you live in a residential building in Boston that has 15 or more units? If so, you may be eligible to earn a $30 gift card by sharing your opinions on a City of Boston law called BERDO (Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance.)

BERDO requires owners of large buildings in Boston to retrofit (fix) them so that they emit less air pollution, including the kind that causes climate change. BERDO will affect community members as well as building owners. Boston Climate Action Network, a grassroots climate justice group, is looking for residents of these large buildings to attend a focus group meeting. You will hear more about BERDO, be able to ask questions, as well as telling us your hopes and concerns. We will share what we learn with the City of Boston, which is writing regulations (detailed rules) for BERDO to help protect community members as these buildings are upgraded.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the attached survey by Monday, July 25. Boston Climate Action Network will contact you with more details.
