Edgewater employees are dedicated to our hotel’s success and providing guests with excellent service. A number of us have worked at the hotel for decades. But since 2010, our wages have not kept up with the cost of living in Seattle, even as Edgewater revenues have grown by over 70%.

Now, the hotel wants us to accept wages below other downtown hotels and refuses to secure our jobs if our hotel is sold. They have lashed out at us as we exercise our union rights and hired private security guards.

We are ready to strike because we cannot accept insecurity and unfair wages.
