Fall 2025 Organizer Leadership Training Program

Do something impactful this fall and make a difference on your campus, apply for the Organizer Leadership Training Program!

The Student PIRGs and Green Corps train thousands of young organizers every year. Our training programs don’t just talk about the issues, we train organizers to take real action. The goal of this program is to give you hands-on experience organizing campaign actions on your campus.

You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the top social change organizers with decades of experience in campaign work. Graduates of our program continue their organizing work throughout the school year with new leadership skills and professional connections with top-student leaders around the country.

Activist Bootcamp + Three-week Training Program
Attend a virtual Activist Bootcamp to learn the basics of grassroots organizing and choose a Campaign Project you want to organize in your community.

Once you participate in an Activist Bootcamp, you will begin your 3-week training program. We have flexible start and end dates to work around your schedule, so choose the training that works best for you. Participants should expect to have a 10 hours/week commitment to complete the full program.

Date: Monday, September 8th
Time: 5 - 6:30pm ET // 2 - 3:30pm PT
Training Program Date Range: 9/8-9/27

Activist Training Bootcamp Virtual Session #2
Date: Monday, October 6th
Time: 5 - 6:30pm ET // 2 - 3:30pm PT
Training Program Date Range: 10/6-10/25

Activist Training Bootcamp Virtual Session #3
Date: Monday, November 3rd
Time: 5 - 6:30pm ET // 2 - 3:30pm PT
Training Program Date Range: 11/3-11/22

Campaigns:
Students will join campaign teams of students to organize a campaign action in their community by the end of the program. In addition to skills training, you will have one-on-one support from campaign coordinators who will help you create a plan to achieve the goals for your specific campaign.

By completing the goals of the project, you will receive the campaign leadership badge. You can organize more than one campaign project over the semester. You may also propose to organize a campaign action on another local issue you are passionate about.
