It is time for our next coalition meeting!
Last month we had 70 people come together to continue building our community coalition. We reviewed our committees and starting planning our work as we get ready to go back to school.
For our August meeting:
+ We will continue moving forward with our newly formed committees! We need all the help we can get, YOU are the person we need to keep going. Current committees include: Planning - Action - Research - Outreach >>> where will you jump in?
+ Childcare: we understand that childcare is essential for parents to participate! We are working on strengthening our childcare plan, please let us know if you can help us with this. In the meantime, please make sure to let us know if your kids are coming, how old they are, and whether they have special needs. We will make it work but we need everybody working together to make it happen!
+ Meeting location: Thank you Make the Road CT for offering your office space for our coalition meeting! We will meet at 6pm at 885 Wethersfield Ave, Hartford CT 06114.

+ Cuidado de niños: ¡somos conscientes de que el cuidado de los niños es esencial para que los padres participen! Estamos trabajando en el fortalecimiento de nuestro plan de cuidado de niños, por favor, háganos saber si usted nos puede ayudar con esto. Mientras tanto, por favor, asegúrese de hacernos saber si sus hijos vienen, qué edad tienen, y si tienen necesidades especiales. Lograremos que funcione, pero necesitamos la colaboración de todos.
