The first five years of a child’s life are fundamentally important. They are the foundation that shapes children’s future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement at school, in the family and community, and in life in general.

Every child should start school ready to learn, with the opportunity to fulfil their potential. To meet that goal, Australia needs an early childhood education system that is high quality, universally accessible, affordable and staffed by an appropriately paid and recognised workforce.

That’s what Thrive by Five is campaigning for.

You’re invited to join the official Friends of Thrive by Five program and pledge your support for a high high quality, universally accessible, affordable early learning system staffed by an appropriately paid and recognised workforce.

Friends of Thrive by Five will be asked to:

• prominently display a Thrive by Five poster for your parents and caregivers to see.
• share the campaign directly with parents.
• nominate a staff member to become a point of contact between your centre and the Thrive by Five team.

Friends will get access to important campaign updates and briefings, and the team will be sure to let you know when there are important opportunities to share Thrive by Five actions with your community.
