Local Group Agreement

Thanks for your interest in joining Future Ground Network! We've reached capacity with the number of groups we are able to support. Please fill out this application to join our waitlist and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Future Ground Network supports groups across so-called Canada that meet regularly to take action and secure healthier, more viable futures. Our members' work focuses on environmental, economic, racial, gender and disability justice as well as biodiversity, waste reduction and sustainable systems. Joining the network means connecting with organizers from other groups to share best practices, find inspiration, and work together to achieve common goals. Learn more here.

To be eligible for membership with Future Ground Network, your group must be:

  • Working on environmental, economic, racial, gender and/or disability justice, Indigenous sovereignty, biodiversity and/or sustainability
  • Actively working toward making your organizing spaces accessible and anti-oppressive
  • Aiming to build community power to achieve your goals
  • Meeting regularly with at least four active group members or with collaborators (e.g. project partners or volunteers)
  • Interested in connecting with other groups to share best practices, find inspiration, and work together
  • Interested in attending trainings to build organizing skills and capacity
