First Focus Campaign for Children and Coalition on Human Needs have joined together to draft a letter to all members of Congress urging them to ensure the well-being and safety of children through significant reforms to immigration policies and practices as they deliberate federal appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security. The signing organizations strongly urge members of Congress to reject status quo funding for the Homeland Security FY26 annual spending bill, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and include meaningful, enforceable safeguards that protect children and families and treat them with dignity.

Local, state, and national-scope groups are all encouraged to sign this letter. We very much hope you will sign and circulate this request to other organizations.
