General Strike for Gaza
For more than a year, the entire world has protested to end the genocide in Gaza. These massive demonstrations have not ceased the US’s role in funding and supplying arms to Israel. Stronger action must be taken, and urgently, before the Palestinians in Gaza are entirely erased.
The Illinois Green Party is calling for a series of General
Strikes, starting on February 7th, and repeating on the 7th of every
following month, until the US Government:
- Enacts an immediate arms embargo on Israel
- Sends immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza
- Honors the ICC arrest warrants
These are the suggested day of strike actions:
- Call in sick from work
- Stay home from school
- Make no purchases
- Share General Strike information on social media
