This Winter we are working to tackle the biggest problem facing our generation - climate change. Coming off another record setting fire season, it’s clear we need to take strong, swift action to reduce the impacts of climate change. That’s why we are building support from students across the state to call on Governor Newsom to speed up our transition to 100% clean energy by 2030!

At CALPIRG Students, we're working to gather over a thousand petitions here at UCSB, plan a clean energy summit, and work with key partners on campus and in our communities.

We’re looking for people to join our effort as volunteers or take on remote internships with us! We have internship and volunteer opportunities on our 100% Renewable Energy campaign, working to decrease plastic pollution, decreasing hunger and homelessness on campuses, making textbooks more affordable, and banning fracking.
