Climate Action Rhode Island runs on people power. We are a volunteer-driven organization, with a small staff here to support the action you make happen. If you care about climate change and want to do something about it, you’re in the right place.

Whether you enjoy writing or photography, have experience in clean energy policy, or just want to know when and where to show up — there is a place for you here.

Politics Team
 We organize around priority climate legislation and elections to ensure Rhode Island has strong climate leadership. Volunteers research bills, mobilize turnout for hearings and votes, build relationships with legislators, and help shape advocacy strategy.

Yes to Wind
 We build visible, organized support for responsible offshore wind and push back against misinformation. Volunteers show up to rallies and public events, write letters to the editor, distribute yard signs, and help lead community conversations.

Mobilize Team
We are people who help make key moments happen. Volunteers assist with tabling, event logistics, photography, tech support, and spreading the word to drive turnout.
