We’re organizing in Brownsville right now to support local workers, strengthen local businesses, and make sure our tax dollars work for the people of the Rio Grande Valley.

Too often, public money leaves our community while working people and small businesses are left out.

This campaign is about changing that.

Our proposed policy would help make sure major city contracts create more opportunity here at home by:

• prioritizing local hiring
• giving Valley-based and small businesses a fairer shot
• promoting safer job sites
• increasing transparency around how public dollars are spent

We’re out in the community collecting signatures to get this on the ballot, and we need people like you to help make it happen.
