People United for Public Schools organizes parents across Ohio to support and defend public education and to fight for fairly and fully funded public schools for all of Ohio’s students. We take action together to ensure a bright future for all Ohio kids, regardless of their ability, zip code, or background.

We’re a grassroots organization of people across Ohio who refuse to accept that our public schools should be squeezed, defunded, or dismantled.

We organize. We vote. We hold elected officials accountable.

Because here’s the truth: the people we send to the statehouse, the governor’s mansion, and the school board decide whether our kids get teh schools they deserve.

  • A parent tired of overcrowded classrooms and disappearing art, music, and counseling.

  • A student who knows what your school actually needs better than any legislator.

  • An educator or school staff member watching your paycheck shrink while your workload doubles.

  • A grandparent, aunt, uncle, or neighbor who knows that public schools hold our communities together.

  • Anyone who’s been told that “we just can’t afford” to fully fund our kids’ schools — when we can. ‘
