Thanks for stepping up to do GOTV canvassing. Here's what to expect:

Come ready to work. You'll be going out by yourself and given a turf that you need to complete - no half-done lists, please! Every turf is being reported when it goes out and when it is returned, so every voter has to be dispositioned that day.

New Conversation. The people you'll be contacting already agreed to vote - but have not yet done so. They fall into two categories: Mail-In Ballot people and In-Person Voting people. Your job will be to get them to "make a plan to vote" - to tell you specifically how they will cast their ballot. You will prompt them with what they need to do to complete this task. You'll be sent a short script that you want to commit to memory, including possible replies - if they say this, you say that...

Turnout in Philly will make the difference in this election. Philly is the key to winning PA and whoever wins the Keystone State wins the White House - so the work you do is very impactful. Here's your chance to be counted among this election heroes. Let's go save Democracy!
