Growing 2040 Workshop : Expression of Interest Form

On Thursday 16 April 2026 (12.00–17.00) in Thame, Oxfordshire, we’re hosting Growing 2040: Imagining a Thriving Food System — a one‑day workshop to collectively feel a future where growers, communities and the living landscape thrive in Bucks and Oxon.

We’re bringing together people from across the landscape who shape our food community and food & farming system: growers and aspiring growers; land stewards/landholders; NGOs; buyers and community kitchens; finance and support services; public health and policy; residents — and more.

We’ll share food, hear short talks, and imagine and create this world together. In the room: growers, land holders, stewards, buyers, policy makers and residents. You’ll leave with new connections, having contributed to a shared story you can be part of and personal commitments towards this change. Your input will help inform the Grow More Growers Demonstration Pilot vision, communications, partnerships and learning.

Please register your interest as their is limited space. This will help us curate a balanced room of people from across the local food system, plan access and support (including bursaries/honoraria), and gather the details we need to follow‑up after the event. The deadline is March 9th 2026.

Grow More Growers Demonstration Pilot aims to support new entrant growers to strengthen local food systems and improve food security toward an inclusive, climate‑resilient future. A partnership between Real Farming Trust, Basic Income for Farmers, Bucksum, University of Bath, Autonomy Institute and wyrd futures.
