As workers at an institution that prides itself on its commitment to innovation, members of the Guggenheim Museum Union seek to use our collective voice to push the museum to move toward a better, more sustainable future. Through unionization, we will center equity and transparency in matters that impact workers' lives and livelihoods, while also maintaining what we love about working at one of the world's pre-eminent museums. By foregrounding the essential role staff plays in achieving the Guggenheim's mission, we will ensure that our needs are prioritized in the museum's decision-making process in a way that fosters constructive dialogue and mutual respect across all departments and at all levels of the museum.
