Why get involved?

Over the last year, the coronavirus crisis has revealed the deep cracks in our current political and economic system. For too long, private profit has been put before both people and planet - and it’s our generation that is losing out. We desperately need to build power, fight back, and push for a new kind of politics. This means getting radical Young Greens elected at all levels of government!

"Bolton needs a fresh voice and someone with integirity who's going to call out those in power and hold them to account. Local politics may not seem as 'sexy' as national politics but it is in every way just as important, local councillors have voted to make Bolton folk poorer and poorer year after year whilst providing awful services - this isn't the levelling up we hear about and people have had enough."
