We've defined a progressive policy and issue agenda that we believe every leader in our city government should live up to - The People's Platform for a Just Philadelphia.
The People's Platform:
Stop Targeting Black and Brown People
Keep Philadelphia Accessible and Affordable
Invest in Healthy Schools, Jobs and Re-Entry, and Affordable Accessible Housing
Make Corporations, Developers and Universities Pay their Fair Share
Community Control of Land, Housing, Schools and Energy
Make Philadelphia Safe and Healthy
Dignity and Respect for all Work
Ensure a Democracy Where We Can All Participate
We're working to raise awareness about this critical election and are connecting with thousands of Philadelphians to drive turnout to the polls this May for this far reaching progressive agenda
The Alliance for a Just Philadelphia is not endorsing any candidates in May's election. We think it critical to put the issues front and center. Candidates for office should speak up and take action to show where they stand on the People's Platform.
We are focusing our efforts on making sure Philadelphia knows how candidates live up to these issues, starting with a candidate forum on March 24th in partnership with a broad set of labor, community and faith organizations.
