The Australian Mass Mobilisation (AusMM) project team are volunteer Rebels from all states and territories who have come together during the period of isolation due to Covid-19, to enrich the rapid growth of XR local groups and to support all Rebels. We are facing a massive emergency with the government keen to see our COVID recovery dictated by coal and gas, we need all hands on deck with the rebellion - that means you!

At the start of September we completed the first round of mobiliser training and trained 15 mobilisers who are now beginning to mobilise in their areas - for example in Taree in NSW where a Wave 1 action took place recently. Now we are preparing for the next round of mobiliser recruitment and training, and are strengthening and developing our mobiliser support teams.

Mostly we work on-line together via zoom discussions - this means wherever you are in the country you can make an invaluable contribution to the mass mobilisation effort. No matter how much past experience you've had with XR, we will induct you and make you feel welcome in the project, find you a place where your contributions are valued and effective. Basically we are looking for people who are keen to Rebel for Life, who have good communication skills and basic computer skills. That means YOU!

The project is structured into three working groups with various sub-groups within them. These are: Mobilisation, Actions Support and Systems. When you fill out the form a contact from the project will get in touch to personally speak to you about where you may best fit, and you can come along to working group meetings and meet the team.
